Dear Fresher
I am delighted to welcome you as a
new member of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University community.
You have made an excellent choice in selecting a South-eastern
university, and more particularly, the Nnamdi Azikiwe University to
pursue your academic career.
One of the core values of this great institution is to embrace a more
student-centered approach to relating to you. In pursuit of that value
we will do our utmost to provide a stimulating academic and social
environment in which you can grow and achieve your full potential.
The University is celebrating its MATRICULATION AND WELCOME CEREMONY today, 24th January, 2014 at 11 A.M. and you are required to be present.
The Matriculation Ceremony is the occasion when new students are
formally recognised as members of The University, with the signing of
the Matriculation Register marking your acceptance into the academic
community.
The success of last year's ceremony was attributable to the full
participation of all new students and we look forward to a similar
level of participation this year.
A number of University officials will be present at the Ceremony to
meet and welcome you, this includes the Vice-Chancellor, your Faculty
Dean, the academic/non academic staff of the school and some special
guests.
At the end of the formal Ceremony, there will be an opportunity for
you to interact with these great personalities, as well as some of
your lecturers, members of the senior administrative
and professional staff and other students.
The Matriculation and Welcome Ceremony is an occasion that you
should not miss.
Feel free to request for my presence 'in school' if you so desire
(call**07064668966)
Especially, the newly admitted
Students of MY department "GEOLOGY". Congratulation! but after all
celebrations dear, prepare yourself fully for a rough ride ahead.
The Lord is your strength.
Thanks. We look forward to meeting you and your parent/guardian!
Yours truly
