Why is UNIZIK students Facebook page not among the nominees for best blog/social network? That page remains the best jare
ReplyDeletePlease uniziksugnews.com should be disqualified. Since this event is organised by the SUG, the SUG blog should not be among the nominees. The PRO should rather partake in nominating other social networks instead of his office blog been among the nominees. Queen Agulefo should also be disqualified from miss personality nomination. How can a sitting SUG Vice President be among the nominees? That's unethical please. Also as the first commentator said, Unizik students Facebook page should be among the nominees. The page is outstanding especially it's editor Chukwuemerie Uduchukwu.
ReplyDeleteIn as much as I applaud this work by the SUG, there are loopholes. What is your carriage if you don't carry the CEP students who are interested along?
ReplyDeleteAside social enhancements, there are things that needs urgent attention which should be propelled by the S.U.G. Structures (houses) are rising here and there in and outside Ifite yet parents pay through their noses to secure an accommodation for their children. It is a slap to this school's SUG. Do something about it. Set up committee to ensure that justice is done to this. The SUG can even make some money from this move.
Coming to the spearhead of this blog, I nominate prince neche for the best comedian of the year and mmanya master for the best artist of the year. Thanks.
There are some nominees listed here who are not even students of Unizik.... So y is it then titled as Unizik Awards.. I don't understand.
ReplyDeleteThere is a legal latin maxim which says “Nemo Judex in causa sua” which literally means “no man ought to be a judge of his own cause” I can't fathom why our Vice-President, Agulefo Queen and the Director of Socials, Lasgidi would be nominated. It smacks on disrespect and if not corrected would leave an erroneous precedent whereby successive Excos would award themselves. I recommend that their names should be taken off this list with immediate effect. Another problem I have with this list is why Chukwumerie Uduchukwu who runs the official Nnamdi Azikiwe University page on Facebook wasn't nominated. He deserves at least two awards because come rain come shine, that page has been consistent and he keeps the entire Unizik community abreast with information. I hope this is looked into with utmost concern. Aluta Continua. P.S Congratulations are in order to all the nominees.

Why nominating those who are not Unizik students, in the likes of Tidinz and Dj Sleeky, this award should be strictly for Unizik students. Why are CEP students not among or are they not Unizik students? Finally, Unizik fm crew are they not among?

ReplyDeleteHey fellas,I A m very happy with what the office of the DOS is putting up here.I A m Mallam Dagogo and a graduate of this great institution and so I say...many of the Nominees in the comedy category are graduates also and so not supposed to be listed for the award and the only person left is just Neche.so I think more comedians should be discovered or just hand the award to prince cos you don't expect me to come and ask people to vote me for unizik award when I have an award from the state.its a great development anyways.that one no mean say una no go invite us to collect the small money wey we still dey the town dey collect ooooo.lol
