Is
MBN Unizik's Best Writer?
When
Martin Beck Nworah was unveiled to the students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University
Awka almost a year ago, little was expected from him because he is a law
student. And more to that,he seems to have a lot of engagements and
responsibilities with the outside world especially with the "ogas at the
top". But he was determined to engage all the students of Unizik and give
them his best. He was resolved to giving them quality articles that beats our
imagination and adds thunderous accolades to his creative abilities.
He
wasted no time as he hit the stage with many thought provoking articles that no
sooner than later, endeared the students to him. Another key that played an
important role in his meteoric rise to fame is his consistency in writing. For
the past one year,he is always in front of your laptop and smart phones showing
no signs of stopping. Because of the consistency and excellent writing style of
this young man in his early-early twenties, Dr. Maurice Izunwa of the Faculty
of Law once described him as a boy with many abilities that will keep you
coming back for more. He made this declaration after MBN contributed hugely to
the success of his publications by bringing his vast general knowledge into
quality use.
Another of his key strong points is his generosity
and funny personality. He was once quoted saying; "If I have the best of
clothes, shoes, lodge and enjoy the best things on campus while my fellow student
is sad and helpless before my very eyes, then I am not a human". This
philosophy of life made him to always extend emotional, psychological and
material support to his fellow students when the need arises. He laughs a lot
and his jovial nature will make it hard for you to believe that he is the same
person who barks and shouts through some of his writings. Some of his
classmates call him the universal carrier because of the way he carries
everybody along and doesn't hang his shoulders. When I first saw MBN laughing
out loud with some people one Tuesday afternoon in front of his class,I
couldn't believe it. I thought public figures especially students were always
pompous and proud, but this young man was a definition of simplicity and
humility. He later pulled me by the side and whispered,"If you truly have
something,you don't shout or brag,make the impact in people's life". A big
lesson from this young man.
Martin
Beck Nworah has undoubtedly and undeniably kept Unizik students always wanting
more and dreaming for more. When it comes to his inspirational pieces,he serves
it hot. With his "Kush Session",he got even the meanest of all men
laughing and nodding in affirmation to his creative abilities and talents. With
4 books to his name,10 awards of excellence and over 150 articles in the last
12 months,MBN is surely the best Writer in Unizik.
To
confirm this,we sampled opinions from different faculties and the following
data was collated.

Martin
Beck Nworah has become a household name among the students of Nnamdi Azikiwe
University Awka and I make bold to say that this young man has all the
qualities of becoming great. He is currently working on a new book which he
said is based on the campus life. Further efforts to get some details into the
book was met with stiff resistance but he promised to reveal the content as
soon as possible. The book when released later in the year, will be his 5th
book in publication. He is also working hard on some individual projects that
will increase the entrepreneurial spirit of Law students and the entire
university community while also putting huge naira notes in their pockets.
Martin
Beck Nworah is a blessing that comes once in a generation. Speaking on
opportunities for Unizik students he said;"My plan is to help my fellow
students discover their talents and become better individuals while helping
them to build up their emotional, psychological, social and material life".
I
am really privileged to have met this young man that is full of unfathomable
creative abilities and talents. The world is surely watching as he grows and
matures into a full-fledged man, ready to lead his generation to el-dorado.
I believe 99.9 percent of everything that was said here about this young man. I met him at Port Harcourt during one of his speaking gigs. He was introduced as a guest speaker and after the event,I met up with him. I introduced myself as a student of Unizik and he was very much happy seeing me. A gentle brother and down to earth too. Ladies must be dying over this fine guy.
ReplyDeleteMBN has been a huge source of inspiration to me. Although I have never met him in person,my friends who have said he is such a fine gentleman. More power to your elbow and I pray for more grace for the race.

Let MBN write and let Emerie report. We need both of them.
DeleteMBN is a writer while Emerie is a reporter. These are two divergent aspects of writing and you cannot compare them. MBN still remains the best. You can google Martin Beck Nworah too and see his many writings, articles and contributions on popular news sites. Emerie is good in his own field. MBN rocks Unizik!
