ZIKITES RECTIONS AFTER THE SUG WEEK
WILLIAMS: the week started VERY WELL but ended quite BADLY.
JOY: Cultural/ street carnival making sense, there was no SUG night.
BABA JAY: Generally in my rating, I would give above average,
The SUG week indeed had some highlights specifically, the cultural day
celebration, the burn fire nite and the jean carnival,
The week was indeed a remarkable one even though the Nite wasn't
adequately satisfying and exciting.
I must commend the efforts of the Vice President and members of Her committee.
JOHN: about how casted the show was going to be, so i spent my time
wisely... my roomie came back with marks all over his face... have
some?? for the sug officials...
(1)WAS it a slapping Party??
(2)what happened to the our usual artist...

FG GIVES DANA ULTIMATUM TO PAY CRASH VICTIMS' FAMILIES
The federal government on Thursday, gave Dana Airline six months to pay the claims of the families of the victims of the June 3, 2012 plane crash or face sanctions.
Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah, gave the ultimatum at the 2013 Ministerial Platform in Abuja.
She said the airline had paid up to 60 per cent of the claims to the victims' families but experienced a delay due to double claims that needed to be clarified.
"Dana has actually done very well in terms of compensating accident victims," she said. "The challenge Dana has is that ofmultiple claims; the multiple claims made it difficult to ascertain who should collect. And until they are able to do that, they will not pay multiple claims and we will continue verifying and re-verifying to ascertain who should be the next of kin to claim the money but I know Dana has done up to 60 per cent.

MAKE A CALL WHILE DRIVING AND GO TO JAIL - FRSC
The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has announced a newly
adopted strategy that would ensure that any person caught using the
mobile phone while driving, would no longer be fined but immediately
taken to court and jailed.
Corp Marshal, FRSC, Mr. Osita Chidoka said other offences like speed
driving, dangerous overtaking and overloading would equally attract
court action instead of the usual fines.
The FRSC boss, who was speaking at a news conference in Abuja, said
these new measures are part of a newly launched campaign to reduce the
increased spate of road crashes in the country.
Commercial bus drivers are now expected to install speed limit devices
in their vehicles sothey henceforth should not exceed 100km per hour.
National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers
(NURTW) however admitted that some drivers are guilty of the
aforementioned road accident causingcrimes.
The FRSC says it is partnering with several organizations including
oil companies to fulfill its promise to make Nigerian roads one of the
safest in the world by the year 2020.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY REARING SNAILS
Rearing of snails can be a very productive pastime in Nigeria. It
needs little input in terms of human effort. The African giant land
snail is the common specie of snails in Nigeria, and luckily it is
edible. Its scientific name isAchatina fulica.Starting up a backyard
snail farm relatively easy compared to other animal farms. In Nigeria
costs should range from about 500 naira to about 10,000 naira. Of
course there is no limit to the amount of capital used for start up.
The advantage is this is a business that can be started with a low as
500 to 1000 naira.
Snails are very prolific animal that lay eggs and they do not need to
mature before they start laying eggs. They usually are not affected by
diseases but may be attacked by insects that crawl on the ground such
as termites, ants etc. Just make sure the snail cage is really
partitioned fromother areas
Since you literally do not o anything to set up a snail
farm other than to buy some small snails, keep them in a secluded
moist area and feed them leaves or starchy foods then it means you
have a high turnover i.e. high profit margin after sales.
Not all snail types grow up to become big. So make sure
before you buy baby snails at the market ask the trader for a specie
that is suitable for rearing. You will get snails in any ofthe big
markets around.
When your snails are fully grown you can sell them back
to the traders you brought them from as babies or sell them to all the
numerous roadside food joints. You can also sell them to bigger retail
foods outlets like zartech but you would have to register your farm
with the corporate affairs commission to do that. It takes about six
months for snails to grow to maturity.
Warning: Snails must not come in contact with salt. Do not give them
food waste that contains salt in them.

NIGERIA'S COAT OF ARM USED IN HOLLYWOOD MOVIE
So i was watching a Hollywood movie titled 'BAD A S S' and the movie
was indeed BAD A S S. But the most BAD A S S thing about the movie is
that the Nigerian coat of arm was used twice in the movie. What
appeared to look like the Nigerian coat of arm was first shown at a
scene where the main actor was filling out a police recruitment form.

J-MARTINS PRAYS FOR HANDICAPPED FAN IN OWERRI
In some unconventional moves, J Martins brought tears to the eyes of over 70,000 fans in Owerri on Saturday June22, as he interrupted his live performance at the Star Music Trek concert, to bringChukwudi Ejiofor a handicapped fan up to the stage.
Despite being physically challenged, Ejiofor who says he dances for a living, joined other fans for Martin's dance competition, and he received wild cheers from the crowd.
As J Martins watched him mix acrobatics with dancing, he asked for silence as he spoke emphatically 'God will restore you. I am not a pastor. I have nothing to give you but God who gives us life will restore you and restore your healing.
Overcome with emotion, J Martins left Chukwudi with a memento: his neck chain. He also took out time to take pictures with him backstage.
