JOY: Cultural/ street carnival making sense, there was no SUG night.
BABA JAY: Generally in my rating, I would give above average,
The SUG week indeed had some highlights specifically, the cultural day
celebration, the burn fire nite and the jean carnival,
The week was indeed a remarkable one even though the Nite wasn't
adequately satisfying and exciting.
I must commend the efforts of the Vice President and members of Her committee.
JOHN: about how casted the show was going to be, so i spent my time
wisely... my roomie came back with marks all over his face... have
some?? for the sug officials...
(1)WAS it a slapping Party??
(2)what happened to the our usual artist...
TerryG n Kcee??
(3)even if they were busy or had shows,why not bring well know arts
like bosalin,omeyar,ymc,and well know awka artist that pipo could sing
to their songs...
(4)but wait y should anybody bring Ekwe to a once in a year show,i was
tired of terryG but would still have preferred him, so they wanted
pipo to be shouting SAMPLE all through the night... ITS my last
SUGnite as a student, but i dont regret not going @least am off to
church... but advisory bases, miss unizik thing should be streamed
down as it takes toomuch time on sug nites...let dem do pre audition
b4 the nite..

skol day was remarkable.

ADENE GIFT: Hmm na wa oo dis year's jean carnival is a flop. Why won't
it be? When the sug dos is a female(cindy) who wasn't present at the
nite, the sug president is an infant in d post, wasn't present either.
The vice president who was there suffering everything alone was doing
it with her rival (judith) who lost the election to her(Her excellency
eucharia). I even hear say she get qwams with judith becos the babe
coorner the money wen 7up take sponsor the nite. Hmm UNIZIK don turn
anoda tin oo. I pray say tonight sug nite no go flop oo becos dem no
get unity at all, God help us bgeagay (palava) every where.

MTN are the greatest fraudsters of the 21st century... How can there promise us klint the drunk, and we ended up seeing kiraino... How can they promise us KCEE and we saw Veeko kings... How can they promise us Terry G and we see Stero man EKWE instead.... They collected money for raffle draws cum gate fee yet there was no draws but a match where they defeated us 10 - 0 . ReplyDeleteMy Heart Bleeds when I hear some certain news about UNIZIK SUG and her officials activities. I feel a sense of shame when issues we would have overgrown as an emerging institution comes hunting us & push litany of questions running through my mind. In my usual self, I wouldnt have bothered commenting if not because it'll amount to disservice to prosperity particularly as the Essence and well-directed vision of SUG is been grossly raped and derided......My input here is that Zikites should rise above apolitical disposition towards SUG affairs...its everyones duty. Zikites should hold their leaders accountable for their actions and learn how to be involved in the processing rather than been complainer of the process.
ReplyDeleteFor God's sake, SUG activities should not be used to financially sap students....It is an exercise in which zikites are not supposed to be subjected under any financial obligation.....neither should the officials holding such mandate on trust for students, mortgage any students activities for their selfish ends. SUG NIGHT IS A FREE GATE FEE NIGHT and it amounts/amounted to great disservice to students' community for any SUG leadership- past and present to deny the students this divine-given right. Bringing MTN, GLO, or even NNPC to sponsor programmes is good but any arrangement or efforts by these multinationals or firms to undermine and hi-jack the activities of the Union is EVIL and should be resisted by all and sundry. POWER OF NEGOTIATIONS comes to play here and thats lies the core expectation of the PRESIDENT- He should be on top of any external negotiation. He shouldnt because of laptop, cash sum or internet modem, sell out the interest of students he should protect. ITS SIMPLY GREED.

ReplyDeleteFrom 2010 till today, the union has been something else. They continue selling out students interest in exchange of their selfish greed.
My own input is that, Is time for the zikites to wake up and stop complaining. Forget what these aspirants has to share during their campaign and make the right decision come this year s.u.g election.
