Were the last eight months Ariana Grande and Big Sean's "Best Mistake"? The singer, 21, and the rapper, 27, have split, Access Hollywood has confirmed.
"They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends," their reps said in a joint statement. "We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."
Back in October, Ariana confirmed their relationship in an interview with The Telegraph, where she also raved about her then-boyfriend.
"He is one of the most amazing men in the whole world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother. I think the world of him, and he's an amazing person," she said of the rapper at the time.
In February, Big Sean visited Access Hollywood Live , where he spoke about working with Ariana on their numerous collaborations.
"It's easy," Big Sean told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover about their working relationship. "[The 'Research'] video is basically real life. It's about things I learned about patience. I feel like if you can master patience, you can almost master anything."
