I WRITE, IN APPRECIATION... COMR. EZENWA OBIORA

Its actually my first press statement on USN since 12th Dec. 2012.

In the Office of public relations,
SUG complex Unizik,

I write with deep sense of appreciation and contentment, using this
medium to...
thank all who view our site, students, lecturers, staffs,
politicians, Federal Govt., sacked ministers, armed robbers,
Bricklayers, gala sellers, Okpa sellers, even fries sellers, Lol.

Our site kicked off on the 13th of Dec. 2012, after our inauguration,
it would have been a shallow dream if not for your relentless
supports, constructive criticisms and encouragement's.

Our twitter followers @nausugnews, those who re-tweet our posts, those
who take their quality time to comment on our posts, those who BC our
daily Headline-bulletin, those who like our posts on facebook, those
who send encouragement messages on FBK, Facebook Group admin's, those
who talk to people daily about our site, MC's who announce of site at
events etc, I say a BIG thank you.

*Our amiable Vice chancellor, Prof. B.C.E Egboka,

*The Dean students affairs, Prof. Oliver I. Onyali,

*The PRO of the institution, Mr. Emma Ojukwu.

*Dean/Sub-Dean Faculty of Education, HOD department of Vocational Education.

*The SUG executive arm led by Comr. Hillary Ugwu, the SUG president.

*The SUG Legislative arm led by Rt. Hon. Rotanna Ogueri, the Speaker SRC.

*The SUG Judicial arm led by Justice Gabriel Ugwu, the Chief Judge SJC.

All Comrades/Honourables/Judges of the SUG, faculty presidents,
Departmental presidents, Hostel Union Excos, course reps of all
constituency, past and present Excos of Rota-Unizik, NFCS,
societal/organisation Excos and every potential Student of Unizik.

For giving us the opportunity to serve efficiently!

Its hasn't been an easy fight, working towards a just course, probing
a challenge for our union; in an environment where no one seems to
care about unionism, it was a war well fought, USN has come to stay
and will continue in utmost competence to give you accurate, and
timely information.

I apologise to all who we couldn't post their adverts/articles here,
we take our time to scrutinize these messages therein cannot meet the
need of every individual, I'm human not God, the news is our aim
irrespective of emotions, conceptual stance etc; no matter how
critical or political the stories we (USN) tell are, "developmental
journalism" is our agenda, information at its very best is a right to
students, and our priority.

*FOR individuals who are interested in being the zikite of the day,
advertisements, birthday wishes, articles, etc. just send us mails:
ziksugnews@gmail.com

*FOR Individuals who wonder what holds for USN when I drop office,
hmm! I wonder the same too. most importantly, participate in the
elections, its your right as a student, a new leader will emerge, any
winner will have my maximum support.

*FOR Individuals who wonder our traffic and compare me to linda Ikeji,
Giant! she blogs for a living, I'm studying and blogging, its
obviously incomparable. For our daily and all-time traffic? Apparently
the next SUG PRO will disclose it.

*FOR individuals that comment anonymously either to abuse our site or
preach a message! We appreciate you however but do well to sign up
with a google account and be recognised!

*USN SPLASH: We'll be publishing the names of 100 zikites/USN readers
as a post in 24hours, do well to have your names on USN, as part of
our success story! Identify with us, don't be left out, Tell your
friends! Text your names to: 08151357466

Lastly, every student is a potential correspondence to the SUG, get to
us on events, happenings in your area.

I SAY A BIG THANK YOU FOR MAKING USN FUN, WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

Gratias. Where do I start to commend you? Is it your Modus operandi or the superabundant prowess and finesse you exhibit? You're really a capturing example of what we preach in vocational educational. The department (AVOCED), staff adviser and the HOD are really proud of you. I exceptionally is gratified to have such an altruistic chap like you as a course mate. Get ready for an award from AVOCEDS and the department at large. We all are pleased to have you. Bravo!

  32. OBIORA! I shouted dis name meaning to say sth great but just found out dt am speechless...Since I don't knw whatelse to say, I will ask U̶̲̅ sm qstns: how did U̶̲̥̅̊ do this?, how did U̶̲̥̅̊ manage to mk urself the most popular and important SUG official, even with seemingly 'unimportant' post??. I don't need U̶̲̥̅̊ to answer these qstns cos I knw the answers. It was in U̶̲̥̅̊, it's in U̶̲̥̅̊, and it will continue to be in U̶̲̥̅̊. Having been so close to U̶̲̥̅̊, I knw exactly what am saying. I thank God who gave me the opportunity of giving U̶̲̥̅̊ an award during my faculty night. It's sth I remember with fondness!! U̶̲̥̅̊ deserve even more. Many ppl criticised me for giving U̶̲̥̅̊ that I award, as I was reading through these comments, I saw the name of one of dem heaping praises on U̶̲̥̅̊, and I couldn't help but laff. Thanks Obiora for proving me right! #SOCHIMA# Former faculty of Arts president.

  42. Obioranwa, naturally, i'm a critic. Have been looking for where to criticize u but i just cant find any. Initially wen we first met at social science building, and u made ur intentions knwn to me, i doubted u. D day u were invited to uzoka center, u were asked a question which u answered diplomatically. From dat point, i knew u were out for greatness. Although some critics kept criticizing u, u still kept ur head in d game. On dat note, dont let ur political ambition end here. Any post u choose, we are solidly behind u. Kudos to u once more
