USN Pidgin Poem: Jungle Justice

Derrick Osoko.

Na clear afternoon, sun dey hit ground...
Every face clear, people dey run their parole for market....
Next thing we hear #na thief, na thief, man don dey ground....
Na one voice shout, d rest join am, e spread for market....

Like four guys don corner one man dey couple am....
Bike men don dey bend their tank dey gather fuel for am....
Oga we dey floor don dey shout on top em voice....
No be Steal buh who wan hear dah one everything be like noise.....

Even one woman across the road dy. Shout free am...
Free am buh,  dah one cum dey sound like burn am burn am
Before she near scene tire don roll out from nowhere....
Matches no be problem, people wey dey smoke full everywhere ....

Package don set Oga don dey burn self.....
Before you know whatsup everything done done self....
Na leta that day we cum dey hear tape o....

Yawa don cast d whole thing na mess up o.....
Na den we know say the guy wey dy burn, na the same guy wey dem rob....
Say the guys wey first start to dey couple am na d guys we rob.
