COOU (ANSU) Students Crisis Resolved

SPECIAL INFORMATION!

The Vice Chancellor, members of the school management and the Nigeria Police, Onitsha Division, had a peaceful dialogue with the SUG Executives, Departmental Presidents, Honorable members of the Departments and Course Reps at
Igbariam campus, to discuss the way forward to ending the ongoing protest by the students over the school fees increment.
The V.C explained to the students that the money added to the school fees is for AFRIHUB (I.C.T training fee) which every student is expected to partake in with a certificate to be issued at the end.
Some delegates of the students sent to the Government House in company of the police gave feedback of their journey to the Governor, Dr Willie Obiano, pointing that the Governor personally extended the paying and registrations to last from now to the week before the semester exams, instead of the normal 2/2/2015 date fixed by the school.
**The school fees the students are to pay remains the same.
No reduction.
Normal academic activities continue tomorrow.
The police also warned that any student(s) found protesting from tomorrow, will have him/herself to
blame of what may happen
ALL STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE IN CLASS TOMORROW. Tuesday 27/1/2015.
