Emeka Mba-led National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has waded and
finally settled the on-going war between the Broadcasting Organization
of Nigeria (BON)/Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria
(IBAN) and the Copyrights Society of Nigeria (COSON).
The Commission at a recent press conference in Abuja, chaired by its
amiable boss, Mba, ordered BON/IBAN to lift the ban imposed on all
Nigerian artistes registered with ( COSON).
It also advised all parties involved in the protracted case to
withdraw all law suits and begin a 90-day peace process. BON/IBAN
last year banned the artistesafter falling out with COSON over issue
of royalties.
