Embattled national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),
Bamanga Tukur on Wednesday evening declared that he has not resign his
position as reported in the media.
"I am not somebody that will resign and you won't not know. I have not
resigned," Tukur, who made a surprise appearance at the party's Board
of Trustees (BoT) meeting, told State House correspondents.
Tukur was absent at the party's national caucus meeting which
continued on Wednesday after it was adjourned on Tuesday night.
The caucus meeting held at the banquet hall of the Presidential Villa,
Abuja ended at about 7:10pm before Tukur arrived.
The BoT which started at about 8:15pm was ongoing as at the time of
filing this report.
