STUDENTS FAILED TO UNDERSTAND ASUU, HOWEVER DR. NASIR FAGGE IS A HERO BY CHUKWUEMERIE UDUCHUKWU

Dr. Nasir Fagge is a hero. Thanks to all ASUU members for their
courage throughout the trying period.

However, I still wonder what prevented the presidency from acting
wisely since. The government should apologise to Nigerians for wasting...

as long as 5 months before deciding to act wisely by implementing ASUU
demands. The supervising minister of education Mr. Wike also owe ASUU
members an apology for insulting them with an empty threat.

It pains so much that some students failed to understand that the
lecturers were fighting for the betterment of their future. However,
with time they will realise the positive impact the strike made on the
nation's tertiary education.

Finally, the government should always do the right thing at the
appropriate time and should stop waiting for unions to embark on
strike before implementing the betterment of their relevant sectors
and working conditions.
