Sometimes I wonder, what life would have been if I had not married
mike. The lovce sna support he as given our family over the years is astounding. Few men would have let btheir wives travel to far off
country for years, leaving six children for them to care for! It takes
a man who ha sconfidience in himself...
to do so. It is amazing that 25
solid years have passed still our marriage is still as fresh as ever.
Thanks to my husband incredible sense of humour, patience and
understanding. To me it seem like yesterday that I first saw the
smart-looking young man in a doctor's white coat, who came out to
welcome my brother as we came for treatment. In those days of our
courtship, my heart was so at peace with him and I never had any iota
of fear or doubts about building a family with him. How right I saw!
We have grown to be friends, real friends who are so free with each
other and can discuss anything, from the sacred to the mundane.
Sometimes, we play like children, deriving joy in uncountable moments
of laughter. I am deeply grateful to God for good memories of 25years.
I am thankful to God for the gift of family, children, friends and
well wishers we have acquired over the years. Mike has the rermarkable
gift of warm reception of people, which has continue to unify our
family, endearing him to our children. We have had ups and downs, but
together we have triumphed. To God be the glory.
Michael Cosmas Ogubunike Omenugha (iche Obama), my husband of 25years;
my best-half, the prefect husband for an academic wife: I give
gratitude to God for who you are and look with pride at what we share,
and what we are to each other.
Di m; you are my best friend and I will remain eternally grateful to
God for the gift of you.
Awwwww! I must marry after ASUU strike, Lol
