To keep their minds occupied, some Zikites have ventured into various
vocations as the strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities
(ASUU) continues. While some help out in the family business, others have one or two places they...
work.

"Odira Sophia, an educationist says she is working in an industrial
company at Owerri".

"Prince Stanley Nwanze, a Quantity Surveyor is working in the Ministry
of Housing, Asaba".

"Chinenye Ezeakacha, a Mass Communicator says she's busy producing and
promoting her jewellery business".

"These students also advised their colleagues to engage in something
meaningful while the strike lasted, so as not to fall into the
temptation of going into crime due to idleness".

For me, an Educationist and the SUG PRO, I have been in Awka working
in my office to update you all on the happenings in school and to tell
you that soon and very soon, the strike will be called off.... Amen!
