KADUNA ASSEMBLY SPEAKER AND DEPUTY IMPEACHED

After surviving several attempts to remove him from office, Kaduna
House of Assembly Speaker, Muazu Usman Gangara, has now been formally
impeached. Gangara representing Giwa East was impeached today. He
and his deputy, Daogar Mato, along side six other principal officers
of the house were all absent when the impeachment was carried out.

were present during the session today endorsed the impeachment of the
speaker and his deputy, Dogara Mato. A new speaker Shehu Usman Tahir
was elected . While Peter Adamu was elected Deputy Speaker.
