In what seems like a sincere outburst of a royal father, the Igwe of
Agulu, Governor Peter Obi's town yesterday at Onitsha during the
official campaign kick of Labour Party candidate in the forth coming
November 16 governorship election in Anambra state, Dr Patrick Ifeanyi
Uba. The Igwe of Agulu, His Royal Highness Igwe Innocent Obodoakor
took a swipe at Gov Peter Obi, describing him as a failure in
governance of Anambra state and also a big disgrace and disappointment
to Agulu people. He said for 8 years their so called son has been in
power that Agulu cannot boast a single well dualized modern road nor a
single manufacturing industry not even a pure water factory. He urged
Anambrarians to chose who will there next governor base on personal
conviction and achievements of a candidate.
Who agrees? I think I don't?

ReplyDeleteI hate this site for one thing and that's why I rarely enter here. I don't just know the kind of person this P.R.O. If this site was opened for fake gossips its better shut down. I'm from agulu and our igwe HRH Innocent Obodoako is more than right. Peter obi ruthlessly told us in the face that since the youth and the villagers wouldn't campaign for him during his re-election, agulu as a whole won't taste any atom of development. Agulu people refused to campaign for him because during his first tenure those that campaigned for him and the whole of agulu were left in the dark. All the promises of appointing youths from agulu and constructing our roads were thrown into the seas. He forgot he has a place he came from until months to his re-election, he came as usual with new set of trashes and promises and expect hungry and angry youths to campaign for him. Even the igwe warned us severely to think before voting cos he is not with him (Peter obi). After the election ngige won votes in agulu. That was when hell was let loose. He's more than useless for defrauding his own people. Used our youths to earn votes in different parts of Anambra and abandoned them and came back again to use them.
ReplyDeleteP.R.O even the press do survey and look deep into certain matters before condemning. peter obi may be better than mbadinuju for not shedding blood but still in the list of worst governors as recorded by minister of works. Don't wake up one morning and say a respectable and reputable man is lying. Thanks
Please,we all get it wrong here. I can categorically tell you that the Igwe of Agulu never made such comments and was no where near Onitsha at Labour Party's campaign flag-off. There was a summit @ the women development center on friday where Gov Obi raised this issue and the Igwe of Agulu who was visibly present debunked that claim saying he never went to the rally and as such was not the person that made the derogatory statement. One thing we can deduce from here is that probably this could be a clear case of impersonation. Cos the Igwe stood and debunked the claim. This 1 no b hearsay,I was there and saw things for myself. Whatever issue Gov Obi has with his people, na there own funeral...
