SAKA, TUFACE, OMOTOLA, OTHERS LISTED AMONG 50 MOST INFLUENTIAL ENTERTAINERS IN NIGERIA

Express Multimedia Limited, publishers of Nigeria's leading
entertainment newspaper; Entertainment Express has rolled out this
year's 50 Most Influential Entertainers in the country.
The star-studded compilation is an annual chronicle to commemorate the
anniversary of the newspaper.


According to the editor, Mr. Azuh Amatus, the list was to celebrate
entertainers who have distinguished themselves in their chosen genres.
His words, "A year ago, when we first brought to you, our darling
readers the first EE special anniversary edition, a lot has changed.
While a few of the entertainers who made the first 50 retained their
spots in this second edition, others however, have 'ported' and
slipped down the pecking order. Welcome to the world of Nigeria's 50
most influential entertainers in the nation's showbiz industry -
carefully selected by our seasoned editorial team with support from
our numerous contributors."

On why they were selected, Amatus said, "Entertainment Express
recognizes the most distinguished entertainers who have combined
global achievements in their respective chosen careers. These one have
within the one year made great marks in the highly competitive
industry."

"Please, enjoy this bumper keepsake edition - until that time again
next year when we complete another circle," the youthful Azuh added.

In this year's list, entertainment powerhouses like Tuface, Omotola,
AY, Mercy Johnson all retained their spots following a successful year
in the different genres of entertainment. Others however lost their
spots to new and emerging entertainment forces like Ice Prince,
Iyanya, Bevely Naya, and Eku Edowor.
