Entertainers in Unizik are expressing their happiness with the good changes in Nnamdi Azikiwe university especially under the administration of Prof. Joseph Ahaneku.
They say since June 2014 when Prof. Ahaneku assumed office, positive changes have become the order of the day.

A popular comedian and Unizik product, Mc Gentle spoke recently via a press release. He said that even as he speaks, he speaks for his fellow entertainers who are really pleased with the Vice-Chancellor’s leadership. He said that himself and his fellow entertainers had noticed how Prof. Ahaneku conducted the Post-Utme exercise, pointing out that for the first time in Unizik, screening results were release same day as the screening, barely hours later.
‘I remember noticing all these, post UTME results were released daily.
I also remember how the university participated and joined efforts at fighting Ebola Viral Disease (EVD); school also resumed early and lecture started immediately; also the SUG elections were conducted very peacefully and the ambience in the university is always a peaceful one under Prof. Ahaneku’ Mc Gentle said.
The popular comedian who hosted Awka Most Wanted and currently an On Air Personality at Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) listed the achievements of the university boss worthy of commendation including a peaceful leadership, peaceful elections, road construction amongst others.
He further commended the latest developments saying that, "within less than a year in office, UNIZIK already has CCTV cameras mounted on campus, three regular admission lists released, with admissions offered via diploma and CEP and more recently supplementary admission for CEP programme; all in a bid to ensure that young people become university undergraduates".
Mc gentle a multiple award winning comedian said that it was the kind heartedness of the Vice-Chancellor that ensured that invalid result cases in CEP admission are rectified daily offering more admission even via supplementary , adding that the ongoing construction and tarring of roads within the school is a commendable one.
Mc Gentle who is also C.E.O., Hyper-Laff entertainmentrt noted that indeed these commendable giant strides do not go unnoticed especially in the eyes of unizik students and entertainers who juggle their talents and education saying that such actions provide a level ground for his likes.
He added that he is proud to be a product of the university and will always be ready to render his services whenever he is called upon.
