Two days ago at the Aso Rock presidential villa, President Goodluck
Jonathan launched a youth empowerment programme that provides funding
to young Nigerians who have good business ideas in order to help them
put their ideas into reality. This funding is a grant (not loan) in
the range of one to ten million naira. It can also be given to youths
who already have a business and feel the need to expand.
I ran into some beneficiaries of the previous rounds of this
empowerment programme and luckily enough, they have agreed to come to
Awka to let us tap from their experience on how to apply and get such
fund.
I urge everyone who is currently in Awka to attend the Awka Youth
Entrepreneurship Summit,
