The National Association of Yoruba Students Unizik has paid a recognition visit to the Dean Students Affairs. The president of the association, Comr. Bello Afeez in a statement requested the strong support of the dean in fully forming the association as it just started. The dean students affairs, Prof. Ken Nwogu in response pledged his full support for any peaceful existence of a good association in the institution. He also promised to support them with advice because the institution accommodate good association.
The president and his executive members revealed their plans to hold a Yoruba cultural day on 18th June 2015(which held successfully) that would help unite Yoruba people and others in the institution.

Still speaking, the president on behalf of the members appreciated the dean for his effort to the progress of the university of the moment.
