HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A GENIUS ZIKITE!

The public relations department of a beauty-product company asked its customers to send pictures along with brief letters describing the most beautiful woman they knew. Thousands of letters came in. One caught the attention of the employees and was passed on to the president. It was written by a boy from a broken home who lived in a rundown neighborhood with lots of spelling errors, an excerpt from his letter read: A beautiful woman lives down the street from me. I visit her every day. She makes me feel like the most important kid in the world. We play checkers and she listens to my problems. She understands me. When I leave she always yells out the door that she’s proud of me. The boy ended his letter saying, ‘this picture shows you that she is the most beautiful woman in the world, and one day I hope to have a wife as pretty as her.
Intrigued, the president asked to see the woman’s picture. His secretary handed him a photograph of a smiling, toothless woman, well advanced in years, sitting in a wheel chair. Sparse gray hair was pulled back in a bun. The wrinkles that formed deep furrows on her face were somehow diminished by the twinkle in her eyes. “We can’t use this woman,” said the president smiling. “She would show the world that our products aren’t necessary to be beautiful.”
Get your perspective right: beauty comes from within. The president of the beauty-products company knows this, “she would show the world that our products aren’t necessary to be beautiful.” The beauty is character; the character is success. (Adapted from a book written by AMARAIZU IHEANYI GENIUS).
The above is a definition of who he is. AMARAIZU IHEANYI GENIUS was born about 20 years ago on this day 25th April. He is a Mass Communication student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. A young and prolific writer, a public speaker and a youth advocate. He is the coordinator and founder of GeniusExist, a youth empowerment organization which contributed to his repute in Unizik after organizing successfully the first ever UNIZIK BRAIN FACIO.
Genius recognition in the student community further escalated after he was nominated for Anambra Exclusive Youth Choice Awards. He has been awarded: ASOMACS award of excellence, English Language Students award of merit, Political Science Students award of recognition etc.
Furthermore, he contested for the SUG president of Unizik 2014/2015 and increased his popularity after he was identified as the SUG presidential aspirant with the highest GP. To his credit, Genius is the author of Youth Success.21 (www.smashwords.com/books/view/427304) and many yet to be published books. He is one student Unizik will always be proud of. And we say to this GeniusZikite, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

 MY 2015 BIRTHDAY MESSAGE
Written by Amaraizu Iheanyi Genius on 25th April, 2015
It is a great thing of joy that God has granted me grace to write and thank Him for adding a successful year to my age. Today, I am plus 1 and there is no doubt that in every positive aspect of my life, in joy, in peace, in love, in grace, in health, in progress and prosperity I am a plus.
From 25th April, 2014 – today, I can boldly say that God has been good. During this period, there were challenges, yet I became victorious. I couldn’t have achieved this victory without some special persons. I thank my parents and family for their love. I thank my friends and well wishers who have played wonderful role in the building of my personality to a better being. And most especially, I thank the student and management community of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka for the greatness we attain. Still, during this period, no doubt, I have stepped on toes, I have offended some persons and I have wronged some friends. I use this happy opportunity to say I’m sorry, I wish you well and we will always overcome. Thanks and God bless you.
