The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has extended the March 8 deadline for collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) by two weeks.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Kayode Idowu, the Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman on Sunday in Abuja.
The statement said the period for the collection of the PVCs had been extended from March 8 to March 22.
``This latest extension offers the last opportunity for duly registered voters to collect their PVCs before the general elections scheduled for March 28 and April 11,’’ the statement said.
It called on registered voters who are yet to collect their PVCs to use the opportunity of the extension to collect their cards to enable them exercise their franchise during the polls.
