As we rise from bed everyday the time draws near for Nigerians to speak again, to declare to the whole world whom we would like to steer this nation for the next four years. An observant student of life should have sensed or known by now that more revelations are being made about things we never knew happened in this nation, for instance that a huge some of money was laundered from the federations account. So many respected individuals now trade words easily, they fabricate stories, carrying an unprovable accusations in the name of politics. For instance, recently my own brother who has remained mute for sometime now decided to unmute his mouth. I wish to ask this, why has he not revealed this before now after discovering that a huge amount of money was missing from the federation account? why is it now that the election is around the corner that he has decided to loosen his mouth? of what use is the revelation to us now? how are we sure that money has not entered his pocket from the other politicians in order for him to do this? how do we prove what he is saying? The problem with our nation is that we only speak when we stand to gain something. Some persons have argued that the so called man who tries to tarnish anothers image is a loyalist to one of the national leaders of APC(ATIKU). Some might have sensed or known whom I am referring to but if you have not, I will tell you. I speak of my brother who did well as the Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Prof. charles Soludo but has allowed non issue based politics that is been practiced by some leaders of our country to draw his name to the mud. Prof Soludo... be warned, desist from cheap propaganda. A statesman speaks out when things are going wrong but not a in manner that will cost lives or commotion.
Some leaders of this nation had made some utterances in the past that led to loss of so many lives, like that of 2011 by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. Our leaders be warned, the lives of our students and in extention, all Nigerian comes first. stop sacrificing our citizens for your cheap ambitions. I want to use this opportunity to encourage my fellow comrades and students that we should constantly remain in prayers because of the looming crises. Pray against disintegration, promote peace wherever you find yourself. Do not allow any politician to use you to perpetrate evil during or after the elections.
