The 23rd House of the Students Representative Council concluded the screening for the executive appointees from the Office of the Vice President, Students Union Government, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka today at the Moot court of Law Faculty.
The screening of the nominees was presided over by the Speaker, Rt.Hon. Nzube Nnamani with the able contributions of the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Wonder Obi, the Chief Clerk, Hon. Njoku Victor, the deputy Clerk, Hon. Gloria Igbodiegwu and the distinguished SRC legislators from the various constituencies in the institution.
In his closing remarks, the speaker thanked the Vice President of the Union for honoring their invitation in time and submitting the list of her appointees as directed by the house. He assured the entire students that the SRC will do its possible best to work hard towards consolidating on the good foundations been laid by the Union. He further stated that the results of the screening will be communicated to the public through the office of the Chief Clerk of the House.

here in unizik, every constituency(department) is being represented in the house by a student if such department.
The legislative power of the union is vested on the SRC. And their priority is to ensure the good welfare of zikites.
