insurgency and other terrorists activities orchestrated in the country
would be a thing of the past.
Jonathan, who stated this when he attended his first New Year service
at the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) at Area 1, Abuja said no
individual or group was capable of holding the country to ransom.
He also certified the political crisis rocking the country as healthy

that there would not be noise in the political environment, including
the United States of America which, according to him, was almost shut
down not long ago.
"Boko Haram is temporary! Boko Haram will surely go! A number of
countries are facing similar challenges, and some have been able to
overcome it and surely we will overcome Boko Haram. Life in the North
must change; development must go to all parts of this country. Nobody
or group can hold this country to ransom. We will collectively
liberate this country from the hands of any evil person, so that we
can leave behind a Nigeria that our children and grandchildren will be
proud of," he added
