ZEROING IN ON WOMEN BY MARTIN BECK NWORAH

I stumbled on a lady few days ago and asked to see her ipad. It was so neatly packaged I had to comment on it and took permission from her to view some files. Suffice it to say that the only things I found on...

that ipad were songs,videos and plenty of pictures...nothing else. I
asked her if the Ipad was a special type of multimedia that does
nothing else save for the above. I got a numb answer. Good,so I made
up my mind that she uses it "just" as a camera,music player and Real
player....where is Steve Jobs please? Was this not the reason he
invented ipod? For several ladies in Africa and most especially
Nigeria,abuse of techs is their stock in trade. Now don't get me
wrong,I'm not saying that all those things is not meant for that
purpose but given the type of device,some functions are primary while
others are secondary.
I respect beautiful ladies...my mum,two sisters and my other rib are
living witnesses to that fact. And they're also aware that when you
combine that beauty with intellect,I'm totally yours. We need more
intelligent and beautiful ladies in our world today. The ones that
will use their ipad to solve problems and not snap pictures at every
given opportunity. We need women who will stand up to men and
complement us. You all seek for equality but I seek complement. Why?
Because we know that right from creation,the equation was balanced by
nature and credence given to complementing us. What it simply means is
that you bring to us what we don't have and we will join forces to
make it whole.
Beauty is good. Intelligence is better. But when there is a sweet
romance and perfect combination of both;greatness awaits you.
I love progression and I'm happy many women are rising to the
challenges of the day and taking control of their destiny. This gives
me even greater joy because I know its already a foregone conclusion
that the making or marring of a man is from a woman. So what? We need
to train more women to take up more roles in the society. They may not
head all the affairs. Equality may be utopian in the nearest posterity
and we all know that. But with the right training,beauty and hard
work,I believe women will salvage more situations for us in this
nation. To every Eve on this planet,ipad is not only for snapping
pictures,use it to make your voice heard. I believe in you. Greatness
awaits you. Till we get to the Promised Land,I shall be waiting for
when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of
grace for the race.
