UBA AMAKA (WEALTH IS GOOD) BY MARTIN BECK NWORAH

Wealth is really good and for the poor who call all rich people
ritualists, I despise you. Ok wait, not that I really despise you for
been poor,I despise your mentality on...
poverty and your view of the
rich. There are those who make their wealth through illicit ways no
doubt, but there are genuine ones and that's why I love and strive to
be like them. Ego di uto(Money is sweet), and every one of humanity's
efforts is geared towards making a better here for each and every one
of us. Even God himself will most certainly not be happy with us if we
die poor;given the enormous potentials and opportunities he has
offered us. And Nigerian pastors will tell you that they serve a
living and rich God. That's it.
But our attitude to wealth is a problem. You see, real wealth lies in
making others happy. In improving the lives of people around you who
are less fortunate than you. I will become a billionaire tomorrow
surely, but when my billions is not translated meaningfully into the
lives of my family, relatives,"real" friends and the world, then I'm
poor. Wealth is good and we must strive hard to succeed honestly in
life. Whoever told you that you must soil your hands before you
succeed is a liar;don't believe him.
We have limitless opportunities to excel in this present age and I
thank God for them. For my fellow young people, our present situation
in life should spur us to work hard and achieve great feats. What
those before us couldn't achieve,I know we will achieve same. The
grace is there already;just reach out through hard work, prayer and
tap into it. We shall be GREAT!!!
Till we get to the Promised Land,I shall be waiting for when you'll
pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the
race.

  4. It's more of like the mentality of some villagers of ifite (Agbani and Umudiaba) respectively whom I got to interact with earlier this year. They feel most wealthy men get their money from controversial sources. It's that poverty mentality talking. I believe the key to wealth is putting God first and hardwork. Another great piece Beck.
