A young Nigerian man living in the United States has been killed after going to deliver a PlayStation 4 that he had advertised online.
22-year-old Ikenna Uwakah was shot several times over the new console...
that he had advertised on Instagram for 'some $600′ and subsequently
died of his injuries in a hospital.
The unidentified assailant shot Ikenna in broad daylight while he was
sitting in his girlfriend's car at a busy junction in Daly City near
San Francisco in California.
Nigerian Eye reports:
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in
connection with the incident, which took place on Sunday.
While police have not confirmed that the suspect stole the PS4, he has
also been charged with attempted robbery.
The family of Mr Uwakah, a student at Santa Monica College, have
expressed disbelief at his death.
His brother Obinna described him as 'a kid that brightened up every
room he arrived in', while his sister told the San Francisco
Chronicle: 'He had a lot of friends, and a lot of people liked him.
'He was a normal kid, just trying to find his way in this world.'
