LIVE WHILE WE'RE YOUNG BY MARTIN BECK NWORAH

When first I heard this song by One Direction,I nearly travelled to
Britain "just" to thank them(I'm serious). They said we should enjoy
life as youths, party all we want, drink all we want and damn the
consequences...really? Wait! Is that...
the type of life we should live
while we're young and have the energy to work for our future?
Certainly not! Ok,I take back my comment on going to thank them(I love
the song though). Honestly,we want to have all the best things in
life;cars,mansions,stadiums,hotels,investments,just name them. But
deep beneath this honest wish of succeeding in life, lies a lazy soul
who is always interested in the next hot spot to waste his savings.
Does it make sense to work so hard and waste it all? Does it not pain
you that you're fast becoming an old adult with nothing to show for
it? I doubt if.
Living while we're young doesn't mean wasting our youthful energy on
things that won't count in our future. A friend of mine who lives in
Manchester has a habit of disturbing me every morning with this
quote,"Martin Somto Nworah, always invest in the person you'll become
tomorrow". I got upset with the man that I blocked him twice and guess
what,he opened new Facebook accounts and continued sending the
quotes...I just grew into loving it and thanked him for being a true
inspiration to me.(Even though I didn't unblock the other accounts).
We must party and have fun as young people no doubt. But we must try
and do that within the confines of our future, the future that we want.
If you're a lawyer, then start now to behave like one(Tip:they're very
stingy set of people...few anyway). All I'm saying is that when we
waste our youthful days on frivolities,it will most certainly tell on
our future. We must try not to live a life we will regret;trust
me,regret hurts. Till we get to the Promised Land,I shall be waiting
for when you'll pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of
grace for the race.

  2. Lols. Lawyers are indeed stingy and I do like One Direction especially their new single "Story of my Life".
