I've known you for a very long time and I must confess you're the best
thing to have happened to me(probably because I have no choice than to
accept only you). You have proven to me how stubborn you can be in
pursuing your dreams in life even when situations don't favour you;I
admire your courage. Many times, you don't comprehend why people behave
the way they do,but you must also realise that we all have our
limitations in life. As you're rapidly growing into adulthood,I have
some advice for you if you'll be humble enough to listen to yourself.
Nigeria is rich;I want you to remove that thought that the country is
hard and people are jobless. Even in the present situation, people are
living life and I want you to join them when the time is ripe. But you
must make some sacrifices and do some things now. If you have the
opportunity, learn a foreign language, any language of the emerging
markets of the world(China,India,Russia,Brazil,South Africa),this will
offer you more opportunities when you get to the labour market. Many
of the multinationals look for these extra talents and skills, that's
why computer and programming experts/consultants are always a hot cake
in a country like Nigeria. Also learn how to package yourself and
speak good English...please;I'm begging you. Many opportunities are
lost, not because the individual is not qualified but because he/she
can't express himself/herself well.
Finally before I leave you today dear "myself",everybody must not
become a super movie star or music star. You can be great in your
field...and since you love learning, books, creative ideas and business
solutions...please stick to what you know. Don't look at those naked
girls who flaunt their melons...it will still become fried eggs...BE
FOCUSED! Till our next diary session,I pray we will get to the
Promised Land, there we shall share a glass of water and thank God for
the gift of grace for the race.
Mehn. This guy is good. PRO please, you need to arrange a forum where we can meet this guy...he needs to tell us the 'juju' he uses in writing.
