Compliments of the season to u all. I choose to say dat cos we are in november approaching December the festive period. How are u guys enjoying your holls??
As i sit on my reading table, i cant but wonder how a nation would be so...
callous to her "FUTURE LEADERS of TOMORROW". At least, dat is what we
have come to believe. A slogan that has been around since the days of
our parents as kids. That aside, how can a nation leave students at
home for over 5months and heading for the 6th month with the way we
are seeing it.
The saying that says "WHEN TWO ELEPHANTS ARE FIGHTING, THE GRASS
SUFFERS IT". Too bad we are the "GRASS" and happen to be victims of
circumstance.. Who is to blame? FG or ASUU?? The two are at fault.
Attitude of non challancy on the part of FG and AN uncouth behaviour
on the part of ASUU. Let us spare ourselves the details because trust
me,
it is a story we all wouldnt like to hear.
I dont know about others but, i wanted the strike to have been called
off by now but with the troubles on board, it is unlikely for us to go
back to school this year. If you people have any intentions of calling
off this strike or i choose to call it "compulsory holiday" this year,
please save yourselves and we students the stress because we wont come
back till january. We know that you know that some students stopped
their exams mid way and some didnt even write at all. Pls, save us the
rush.
When we needed it has gone. The damage has already been done. We have
lost quite a number of undergraduates to the cold hands of death which
could have easily been averted had they been in school. Some have
decided to constitute a nuisance to the society by indulging in crime
and other vices that are unacceptable in the society of today. I think
amma drop my pen here, sit back and watch the drama unfold while i
munch my bucket of pop corn.
