As a child, everyone wrote him off and never felt he amounted to any good. Many tagged him the confusionist because he brought in a new system of doing things. Many prophesied he would be the one to bring...
bitterness to the mother and disgrace to his family and village. He
grew up like every normal child and made efforts to be better. He knew
his calling in life,so he was not deterred by what people said;he was
on a mission. He repeatedly challenged his parents and sweetly
disobeyed their orders;yet they loved him still. He was very
intelligent;this made elites, erudites and royals to always beg him to
grace their presence. Children loved him because from the little he
had,he shared with them and told them stories about the future and how
bright it is.
Some hated him dearly. They plotted all sorts of evil to ruin his
future and many thought they succeeded at first. He had no twitter or
Facebook account to call them names or bail on them. Instead of
calling them names and castigating them,he managed to control his
temper on many occasions and wished them the best. This didn't stop
him from working hard and standing up for what he believed in. The
rich wanted him,the poor wanted him,the gullible despised him while
the foolish jeered at him. Yet he was determined to succeed and prove
to the world that we are not finished unless we allow the world to
pull us down.
They continued fighting to kill his voice;but the more they killed
it,the more it continued to resound all over the earth. Today,he has
more than 3 billion followers all over the world, he has the highest
number of pages on Facebook,he has the highest number of twitter
handles and his pictures are all over instagram. Those who took after
his steps are the richest in the world;yet he had nothing, was
despised and hated many centuries ago. His name is Jesus the Christ of
Nazareth(the world),the son of Joseph the carpenter. He spent less
than 40 years on earth, but still lives on. It is not about the number
of years, its about the impact you made with the little you have.
Remember,it is 70 or 80 for the strong on this pallet. Till we get to
the Promised Land,I shall be waiting for when you'll pass me a glass
of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
