implement what was in the 2009 agreement
paper. The president of ASUU cant even call it off without further
consultations. Their agitation,as I confirmed was that the federal
government should slash the excess money being pumped into the
accounts of our political office holders who use the money for
self-agrandisement. This,as I see it,is a war between politicians and
lecturers, especially professors who spend their lifetime in the
classroom while some miscreants parade themselves as law makers with
their powers still tied to the federal executive government apron
strings. The lecturers are tired both in producing mostly,incompetent
graduates and the weak and corrupt central government we have in
Nigeria. This Lingering strike period is a wake up call for our
selfish politician to call themselves to order. We have a government
we have lost hope in. No trust between the leaders and the led. It
would take God in heaven to revitalize the spirit of political Apathy
the government has left in the people. It is unfortunate that We have
politicians whose conscience are dead. Which way forward? I urge my
fellow youths not to follow the same part of this current leaders. Let
us all emancipate ourselves from mental slavery by equipping ourselves
with enough educational tools to know that a Call to leadership is a
Call to serve and not for selfish interests. Please if this strike is
affecting you,I urge you to remain steadfast and optimistic. God bless

I like that you're aware of the predicament of our nation. Every year, thousands are issued certificates and there are no jobs. The allocation for Education in the budget was so small that it could barely do anything. I like that Nigerians are waking up from their slumber. Senator David Mark earns over 50 million naira monthly and the comes to work not more than 3 times in a week. Let me not even get started on all the 360 members of the house of reps. They are way overpaid. ASUU is fighting a just cause.
