EMENIKE'S STRIKE SEALS VICTORY FOR FENERBAHCE

Emmanuel Emenike looks to have discovered his goal-scoring form since
netting a brace to place Nigeria in the driving seat in the two-legged
2014 World Cup playoff against Ethiopia early in the month.
The Nigerian striker who opened his account for Turkish club
Fenerbahce in a dramatic fashion with a last gasp match winner last
week, continued from where he stopped by grabbing a brace in Friday's
3-1 win over Gaziantepspor at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul.
Emenike opened scoring with a well-timed header inside the box on a
cross from Alper Potuk in the 9th minute.

His second goal came in the 86th minute with scores set at 2-1, Salih
Ucan robbed the ball from Gaziantepspor defenders surging into the
area, and he left it for Emenike to score his brace.
The victory leaves Fener on top of the Super Lig with 22 points, six
ahead of Besiktas, who will be playing today (Saturday) against
Akhisar Belediyespor and nine more than defending champions
Galatasaray.
The 26-year-old striker has now scored three league goals since
joining the 'Yellow Canaries' from Russian club Spartak Moscow less
than two months ago.
