TRAILER ACCIDENT RE-OCCURS AT UNIZIK JUNCTION

The commercial city of Awka could have been thrown into another spate of grief and mourning over the weekend, precisely on friday. It
happened on the eve of said day at about 5pm when a trailer lost
control at the UNIZIK temp site axis just few steps to the "Fly Over"
apparently due to brake failure and ran into the...
drainage canal
demarcating the dual carriage expressway. Confirmed report has it that
no life was lost at what could have been described as a fatal
accident. USN gathered from eye witnesses that the driver of the truck
survived the accident. It could be recalled that an accident of this
sort involving a petrol tanker occurred at the same axis earlier this
year leading to the loss of lives and properties.
