PROF. BONIFACE EGBOKA CALLS FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE

The vice chancellor of this noble institution, Prof. Boniface Egboka
has decried the rate of moral decadence in the society especially
among the Igbos. Prof. Egboka made this known at a summit organized by
the League of Anambra state Professionals (LAP) at the women
development center Awka recently. He opined that the Igbos no longer
embrace values such as hardwork,diligence and honesty which has always
been associated with the Igbo race. The VC who was represented by the
deputy vice chancellor Admin, Prof Greg Nwakoby frowned at the
"deportation" by the Lagos state government and subsequent "dumping"of
the Igbos at Onitsha which he described as unlawful, unconstitutional
and inhumane. He further charged Government to be accountable and
provide security and other basic amenities to the people that voted
them in power. He commended gov Obi for his giant spheres in
repositioning the state through his policies.
