winning a beer drinking contest, during which he reportedly consumed
six liters of beer in20 minutes.
According to reports, when Gracia won the top prize and lifted his
trophy into the air, he soon after began to vomit and didn't stop.
At that time, emergency services were invited, because the belief held
by those at the event wasthat Gracia's beer had been poisoned.
While waiting for medical personnel to show up, eyewitnesses noted,
Gracia appeared to nodoff.
By the time the medical team arrived, Gracia had experienced an heart
attack. He was rushed to a local hospital, but passed away shortly
after his arrival.
Gracia's level of alcohol consumption is believed to be a factor in his death.
