A very good evening and welcome to today's (Wednesday, 18/11/15) Unizik News Updates at 5pm where we update you with the latest happenings in our university, Awka, Nigeria and the world.
1. The payment of fees and clearance for our new students is still on-going in the university. Concerned students are advised to adhere strictly to the instructions given especially as regards paying into specific accounts in the bank to avoid double payments.
2. The new Department of Architecture is nearing completion. External fittings and beatification is currently on-going and the final stage of beatification which is the painting of the outside walls will commence in a few days.
3. No new details has been released as regards the sale of prescience forms. Concerned individuals are advised to keep checking back at the banks. If any new information is released, we shall do the needful by publishing it.
4. The picture accompanying this news update is that of our new mini magazine, "After school, what next?" The magazine will be shared to ALL STUDENTS that will attend the #ZikitesUSNConnect event for FREE. The magazine contains rich articles, jokes and pictures that explores divergent areas of the youthful life in our society.

6. Resumption of old students is on the 23rd day of November, 2015. Lectures for both old and new students will also commence on 23rd November, 2015. No delays of any nature whatsoever.
7. If you would like to perform as a dancer, singer, comedian or showcase any of your talents at #ZikitesUSNConnect , please call 07036390887 and introduce yourself. This is our own way of supporting our own indigenous talents and you will not be charged for anything.
8. The Students Judiciary Council (SJC) has announced that this year's SJC week is scheduled to hold between 30th November - 5th December, 2015. Further details will be released from the office of Chief Judge of the Students Judicial Council, His Lordship, Hon. Justice G.C Ohachosim
9. Individuals seeking for information on the post-graduate programme of the university can visit the School of Post Graduate Building inside the university or the university's website at www.unizik.edu.ng . We shall also keep you posted if any new information is released.
