DEAR DIPLOMA STUDENTS:"E DON RED"

As the Public Relations Officer of the S.U.G and your brother in the aluta, I see this as both an official commitment and a personal duty to speak to all of us at this time. The first semester examinations is coming up and I believe this is a perfect time for me, as Martin Beck Nworah, to reach out and share some lessons I've learnt on this journey. "E don red be say the time to invest in dis cause don reach."

UNIZIK is a very sweet institution by every standard. Beautiful people, dedicated lecturers, nice places to hang out with lots of fun and not leaving out the endless "I love you" that flows in all through. Indeed, this is the best time of our life in the best institution. We are in the university and we have all the time to have fun and live while we are young. But "besties",we have a big challenge facing us and I want to help us conquer it. As diploma students, it is obvious that we have just two years to spend in this institution and if we are not careful, we may lose out on the opportunity to gain a direct entry admission. It is scary I know and I can't even imagine it myself.

As Martin Beck Nworah, your brother and the P.R.O of our S.U.G,I am pleading with us to focus on getting it right once and for all. There's NO SIN in being a diploma student. Be proud and focus on your studies. Making friends and hanging out is cool, but I'd rather have more fun when I'm sure of my status as a student than when I'm hanging on the edge. Believe me, after this two years, we shall have all the time in this world to have the fun of our lives. Just work hard now and remain here after your diploma programme, I'll personally use my resources to "flex" you around town.(Just kidding...but I'll try)

If you have difficulties in studying, you can always reach out to me. If you have any challenges that will make it hard for you to focus on your books and succeed, do well to let our S.U.G know. On my part as Martin Beck Nworah, I'll try my best to assist you to the best of my abilities. Looking at the investment of our parents and guardians, I can't bear to see you leave this town after just two years.

Be strong. Commit all to God in prayers and try your best. If you need a helping hand, the P.R.O and the S.U.G will be close to help you.

Till we get to the Promised Land,I shall be waiting for when you will pass me a glass of water and thank God for the gift of grace for the race.
