AFTER FIRST DAY OF SUIT HEARING IN THE S.U.G HIGH COURT

The first day of the suit hearing filed by the Executives of the Students Union Government against the Union's President kicked off at the S.U.G High Court on the 29th day of April at about 2:10pm at the Faculty of Law Moot Court. This period is a pretty busy one for the judiciary arm of our government as they are fast tracking proceedings to make sure that judgement is passed in the case at hand within the shortest possible time.
 
On the first day of proceedings, the court busied itself with the filings and adoption of motions, deciding on the jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter in question and such other antecedent matters that may be instrumental in reaching a justiciable judgment in the case.
 
The court case has been adjourned to continue today by 10:00am at the aforementioned venue. We will keep you updated as events unfold.
