(Convocation will henceforth be an Annual event)
The deputy vice chancellor, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Charles Esimone has dispelled the rumors of the likelihood of the school embarking on a Break with regards to the coming general elections.
Prof. Esimone cleared the air in an interview with Franklin Onwubiko yesterday in his office. He stated that except the federal government gives a directive to that effect, academic activities will continue as the school is behind schedule.
The DVC further cleared the air on the postponement of the scheduled examination stating that the exams will run as planned. He urged students to prepare adequately for their exams as there won't be any room for malpractices.
The Professor of pharmacy further revealed that the much anticipated convocation ceremony will be held this year and just like other universities, convocation will now be yearly.
He further stated that the newly admitted diploma students will be afforded ample time for their study before taking their first semester exams.
