BREAKING NEWS: Bloody accident at UNIZIK Temp.Site

It was indeed a bleak evening on the 21st of January as 5 cars were involved in a ghastly motor accident at the ever congested UNIZIK temporary site road. The accident occurred when a driver of a long lorry lost control over his brake and ramped into a Toyota salon car that had a full family of three kids and their parents on board. Luckily, the occupants of the Toyota salon car which was hit from both front and back survived without any scratch on their body. The driver of the lorry then swayed his hand to the right in other to avoid hitting more vehicles but ended up crushing a keke napep driver beyond recognition.

UnizikSugNews was at the spot when the accident occurred and it was a chilling experience for our reporter who was barely a few metres away from the keke napep driver that was crushed. The passersby gathered immediately and hung a tire around the neck of the lorry driver, ready to execute justice on him before some military men who were helping to control traffic salvaged the situation and took him away.  As at press time, the body of the dead man was still lying at the spot of the incident.

It would be recalled that some years back, a 911 lorry also killed some people at the same UNIZIK temp site junction. Traffic on the road has increased within the past couple of months because of road constructions that are currently going on. As the USN crew were leaving the scene, some men of the Federal Road Safety Corps arrived at the scene to help control traffic and take charge of the situation.
