The Federal Government has declared Thursday as public holiday to commemorate the 2014 Workers’ Day. The Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, who announced this through a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Fatima Bamidele, on Tuesday in Abuja, congratulated Nigerian workers on their resilience and commitment in the face of the present challenges of survival.
