A woman in India has given birth to a girl with two heads in northern India on Wednesday, hospital sources confirmed it
“Yes this report is perfectly true that we have delivered a female baby having two heads on March 12, 2014, morning through a Caesarean operation,” Dr Ashish Sehgal from Cygnus JK Hindu Hospital in Sonipat, Haryana, about 60km from New Delhi, told this website in an emailed statement.
“The
child has two heads and corresponding necks and spines,” he said adding
that, “surprisingly, each side of body is being controlled by the
corresponding head and brain.”
Dr Sehgal added that the girl is “healthy” so far. “She is presently alive and healthy. She was delivered at 11am IST and weighted around 3.4kg [at birth],” the hospital official noted.
