SERIES: UNIZIK 2013 MERITS

Nnamdi Azikiwe university has come a long way. Going down memory lane,
one will discover that the institution has been a trail blazer in many
aspects. It has taken the lead in various endeavours, not only in the
south-east zone but also nationwide and beyond.

1. In the National Universities Commission (NUC) organised Nigeria
Universities Doctoral Thesis Award Scheme (NUDTAS) for 2008 and
2009,the Doctoral thesis of the PhD graduand of the university was
declared the best in the Nigerian University system in the area of
environmental management.
