UBAH, EZEEMO DECRY LATE ARRIVAL OF ELECTION MATERIALS IN ANAMBRA

Chief Godwin Ezeemo, the candidate of the Peoples Progressive Alliance
(PPA) in the Anambra Governorship Election has frowned at the late
arrival of materials in some parts of the state.
Ezeemo, who was accredited around 10.50 a.m., said on Saturday that
election materials arrived very late in his ward at Umuchu in Aguata
Local Government Area.

Similarly, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah of Labour Party (LP), who also
complained about the late arrival of materials, said he was accredited
by 10.30 a.m. after waiting for about two hours.
Ubah called on INEC to ensure a hitch-free election in the state in
the interest of peace.
Meanwhile, the electoral officer at Umuchu, urged the voters to be
patient, assuring them that efforts were being made to rectify the
problem. (NAN)
