DO YOU KNOW: THE NEW FACULTY OF BIO- SCIENCES AND PHYSICAL SCIENCES WILL BE COMPLETED IN FEW MONTHS?

The committee on budget and project monitoring chaired by a member of the universities governing council Sen. Fidelis Okoro, toured project sites of Awka and Nnewi...
campuses recently.

Speaking during the tour, the chairman said the essence of the tour
was to monitor the performance of approved budget, in terms of proper
disbursement and application of fund. Secondly to maintain inventory
of all on-going projects, and to access the quantum of work done in
each site.

PROJECT: AT THE FACULTY OF BIOSCIENCES AND PHYSICAL, BY BECHTEL
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY: the contract was awarded in 2012, the
contractor, Engr. Chiejina promised that the project will be completed
at the stipulated time so as long as there is adequate funding and
necessary approval. Sen Okoro noted with satisfaction, the fact that
bechtel construction company was still working within the stipulated
time, and applauded the company on the level of massive work going on
at the site.

USN view: the completion of this project will earn the faculties more
admission slots.

    my people are urging me 2 go and learn work,am still convincing them that i will get admission in unizik and yet they are still delaying my admission. They have never explain the reason the delay but only telling us to keep checking. Aren't u humans?

    The project can only be completed if funding goes uninterrupted which I doubt. But it's possible. I just hope they've completed the perm site bus stand to engineering bus stand. That road has taken forever to be finished.
