DEPARTMENT OF QUANTITY SURVEYING ATTAINS FULL ACCREDITATION STATUS

Following the consideration of the report by the four-man
accreditation panel that visited the above department in June, 2013
for an accreditation exercise, the quantity surveyors registration
board of Nigeria (QSRBN) has approved that the quantity surveying
programme currently being run in the university be granted full
accreditation status. According to the registrar of the board, Mr.
Godson O.Moneke FNIQS, RQS, the full accreditation status would last
for five (5) years, with effect from 11 The board however urged that
areas of deficiencies should, as a matter of necessity attended to, as
it shall send an interim panel within the next two years to assess the
extent of compliance and any adverse report shall result in the
withdrawal or review of the approval.
