Vice-Chancellor, Prof. B.C.E Egboka when delegates form the early
warning and conflict resolution visited his office recently to
ascertain the readiness of the centre.
Prof. Egboka while speaking said that the centre would serve s a
pacesetter for the institutions. The leader of the team and the
principal Secretary to the first lady, Dame patience Jonathan, Dr.
Isiaka Aliagan said the centre is aimed at strengthening Nigerians
capacity for the promotion of peace, conflict prevention, management
nd resolution.
Meanwhile the director, center of conflict resolution, Unizik chapter,
Dr. (Mrs.) Carol Arinze-Umeobi, expressed appreciation to the Vice
chancellor for his support towards the institute. The team was later
taken on tour.
