Wen our own kms dey want u to even pay heavily to just promote dem or badmouth dem wen dey aint got to pay. Magazines don't even have tym to interview dem as dey busy jumping 4rm one state to anoda to just interview artist d@ is below our standard. Sug foolishly spent hundreds of thousands to bring an exconvict for sug nyt wen we gat such talent bigger dan even dammykrane(onli dos who knw jamz will concour). I kan always invest ma moni in ds dude cos even wizkid kuldnt giv us a good song b4 he joined a label. Here's one dude with no label, no sponsor, ist trial and he's given us ds mad jamz. ReplyDeleteExactly, that's wuh I ve bin tryna say, if awka were to appreciate there artist (some of them sha) and promote them just like enugu those thereby increasing their rep instead of downgrading them and going all out to appreciate artist from somewhere else. And am pretty sure we gat so many untapped talent (just like Kenchukz) even greater than some othere celebrity like the likes of Dammy Krane etc. There's is a radio station, blogs etc here in awka buh instead of promoting there artist they tend to focus on other artist which doesn't concern them in anyway. Don't get me wrong, am not tryna say its bad to play "the reigning song" buh start from your home. A wise man once said " charity begins at home". Am just saying we shuld support our talented artist in awka, all entertainment groups shuld do sumfin abt it; eg flamez, starlett, bug, purple, glitzy, home dudes, cantella, panache, campus amebo, aux and even the SUG etc... the DJ's, are doin a berra job in promoting them, shout out to DJ's in awka likes of Dj sleeky, dj bennyman, dj ontop, dj drew, dj killam, dj da great, Dj gibbson and DJ slam! GGMUB. I listened to the song also, was kinda amazed it came outta awka, it got lagos standard! Kenchukz washere joor! Finally some good music! I guess I prefer to remain Anonymous... And No, its not the same person that wrote both comment buh kudos to whoever did cos he/she motivated me! Awka Artist make us proud!
